Full itinerary
Our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi at 8:00 and head to Ke Ve Village. Stopping at the communal house of the village, you will be attracted by its solemnity and wide collection of various ancient relics dating back hundreds of years. Continuing our walking way through winding roads and passing ancient architectural works, we will visit a local family, listen to interesting stories about common practices and history of the village and then enjoy a local lunch. All promise you a truly unforgettable experience.
After a short break, we will come back to Hanoi center for a visit to Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam dating back to the 11th century to learn about examination systems of Vietnam in the past. Then, we will transfer to see the Pen Tower (Tháp Bút or in another name of Tả Thanh Thiên – writing on the clear blue sky) which is considered the symbol of Vietnam education tradition. The next 1-hour cyclo trip around Hanoi Old Quarter – the busiest part of the old Thang Long Citadel will give you a slow-speed view of a maze of labyrinthine streets as well as the daily life of the locals.

Finishing our day with a cup of coffee while looking down the streets, viewing the bustling life of the locals at the late afternoon surely makes this day trip in Hanoi even more unforgettable.
